Batanes Itinerary: DIY and Tour Package for 4 Days and 3 Nights

Batanes has a lot to offer. From majestic scenes you never thought that are found in the Philippines, good food, to warm and welcoming locals. And oh, not to mention their honesty which Ivatan’s are popularly known. I had an amazing experience but, this post is about Batanes itinerary and how it might help you. I’ll leave the experience to you.

Is it expensive to travel in Batanes? The airfare is expensive, but expenses in Batanes are affordable. I hope my Batanes itinerary will help you in your trip.

My recent Batanes trip cost me Php 6,930 excluding the airfare of Php 4,500 roundtrip (Promo Fare). Getting around Batanes and booking is hassle free. Here’s my Batanes itinerary for four days and three nights (4d3n).

Day 1 – North Batan Bike/Bicycle Tour (Batanes DIY tour)

  • Basco Airport arrival – Touchdown at the airport around 7:00 AM
  • Search for Amboy’s Bike Shop – Their shop was closed when I got there, but I met a local who was willing to rent out her bike.

Best Time to Go to Batanes?

  • December to January for cold weather.
  • February to March for the best weather.
  • April to June if you want hot weather. However, grasses in this period are brown.

Batanes has the best tourist spots I’ve seen so far. Enjoy your trip! 🙂
