Bohol, Philippines Tour

The Bohol Chocolate HillsBohol known as the home of the chocolate hills is situated south of Manila. Less than 2 hours plane ride from Manila or 2 hours ferry ride from Cebu. Bohol is also known for the tarsiers and the beautiful Panglao beach. The island also offers dolphin watching and extreme rides at Danao.

Tourist visiting Bohol usually buys Peanut Kisses as pasalubong.

Listed below is my actual itinerary and some other details of my tour of Bohol.

Hotel: Dao Diamond, Tagbilaran City http://www.daodiamond.com/

We stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights and our stay was so worth while.

Day 1:
Free Time

Day2: Countryside tour
7:00 AM – Breakfast at Dao Diamond
8:00 AM – Departure for countryside tour (2 vans with tour driver & fuel for P3, 000 ea van)

Suggested itinerary:
Chocolate hills (P50/hd entrance)
Butterfly sanctuary (P30/hd)
Bilar man made forests
Hanging bridge (P10/hd)
Tarsier encounter (donation)

12:00 NN – Buffet lunch at the Loboc floating restaurant while cruising the river with entertainment (P400/hd)

Python sanctuary (P10-15/hd)
Baclayon museum (P25/hd)
Baclayon church
Hinagdanan cave (P15/hd)
Bohol bee farm (P20/hd)
Dauis pilgrim

5:00 PM – Back to the Hotel
Relax…..

Day3: Danao Adventure & Sagbayan Peak
2 vans for P9, 000. P4, 500 ea
7:00 AM – Breakfast at Dao Diamond
7:30 AM – 8am- departure for tour
10:00 AM – Arrival at Danao Park (20-25/hd entrance)
zipline, kayaking, root climbing, dagohoy tour, plunge or any activity you like to avail
(corresponding payment applies ….)

Note: You may also have your lunch at the Adventure park

1:30 – 2:30 PM – Travel time to Sagbayan Peak (P25/hd entrance)
2:30 – 4:00 PM – Sagbayan Peak
4:00 PM – Departure (Back to Tagbilaran)
5:30 PM – Arrival….

Day 4: Dolphin watching, island hopping at Balicasag and virgin island and check-out

Note: Just bring your food with you like bread, biscuit and water and avail your hotel breakfast once you go back to the hotel after tour

5:00 AM – Departure to Panglao
5:40 AM – Arrival at the Alona beach
6:00 AM – Departure boat for the island hopping and dolphin watching

Balicasag swimming, snorkeling if you want. Then after that proceed to virgin island for swimming and picture taking.

10:30 AM – Back to panglao proper via Dumaluan beach..
11:30 AM – Back to the hotel
12:30 PM – Check-out
